Rebecca McGurrell
Iām Rebecca, an integrative psychotherapist and group therapy facilitator. My style is all about customising the therapeutic experience. I mix and match different techniques and theories to suit each person's unique needs or to the group as a whole.
Ever wondered about Integrative Psychotherapy, what the approach is & how it can help you? To put it simply, it is an evolved version of traditional therapy. Instead of sticking to one school of thought, it mixes and matches ideas and techniques from various approaches. The result? A flexible, creative and comprehensive way to tackle all sorts of emotional well-being issues, from your past to your present & everything in between.
I embrace my strong Irish roots & mix it in with the 12 years of working & living in London, one of the most diverse cities in the world. I have attended first class innovative professional training in the UK and with all my experience to date I've gained a deep understanding of diverse individuals, their backgrounds, and the challenges life throws their way. My mission is to create a genuine, warm and inclusive space where my clients can kick off their transformative journey.
I've practise privately with clients in London in person and remotely whilst also working for one of the largest global independent providers of holistic wellbeing solutions. I've been lucky enough to support adults around the world, dealing with everything from anxiety and depression to navigating life changes, relationship issues, boosting communication skills, and fostering self-discovery.
My diverse client base includes those tackling generational trauma and disordered eating, as well as clients just feeling a bit lost and in search of self-discovery and a fulfilling life.
I'm a proud member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Psychodrama Association (BPA)
